I don't get it and I can't explain it but I have this crazy urge to move into a cottage, plant a garden, and decorate completely Shabby Chic, claw-foot tub and all!

I completely understand. I am such a tomboy but I get similar urges. Usually that's about the time my hubby looks at me and asks when I became a girl, lol.

Go with it girlie. When I moved into my new house last year I decorated very differently than any other house I've ever had and this is my HOME now. It's like my home is a direct reflection of my insides. Maybe your insides are feeling girlie : )
I am so with you on these things! Gorgeous. You know that part of the privilege of being a woman is our never ending growth and change. This may be just what your soul is craving right now and in 5 years it may be a rustic cabin. Just indulge yourself.
